Immigrant laborers will clean up and rebuild Los Angeles. They've already started, volunteering their labor to clean up the streets of Pasadena. In the process, they are creating community. This is heartwarming and necessary @NDLON #immigrantsarevital.

The Pasadena Community Job Center is a gathering spot for day laborers. As fires burned across the region, workers and staff launched a fire relief brigade.

Agree-- in addition, Salvadoran & Honduran TPS holders have spent a quarter century, often more than half of their lives, in the U.S. They have deep roots in their communities and if they lose status, they'd be separated from their families and U.S.-born children @TPS_Alliance.
180,000 Salvadorans have TPS. They've been living and working legally since 2001, passing a background check every 18 months. Many work in construction in the DC metro area, often in high-level roles with decades of experience. If they lose status, the region would feel the blow.
