Memory is the essence of human existence. We forget what we fail to capture. Each recall distorts the truth. We’re building Bob: a wearable that sees what you see and knows what to keep. The era of zero-input personal computing starts here.#wearabletech #Bob.

Love starts with the product/idea and it moves onto the problem when you understand its value add and challenge.

This is what the human brain does really well, its context window almost truly unbounded. You don’t have to teach it how far back in memory it needs to look.

Problem of context extraction : .“How can you determine an effect has taken place due to a cause from the past?”. The solution : Process should be intelligent to understand passage of time and the window of time it has to look back into. This is an unbounded problem. This is.

For predictive input, we need context. That’s what Bob will do. Get context knowing t-1 to predict t+1. The predictive nature will make operations user-input free @vkhosla.

Multi-modal thought to computer is continuous and something speech cannot do. I do buy the predictive input idea.

X as a platform behaves just like LLMs do today. X itself is kind of an AGI in the making. I see a small no of people who actually add novel information into the space. Then there’s a vast majority that take whatever they can from it and go blurt things out. They get feedback,.

What I hear when people say always on camera isn’t the future. Maybe I’m delusional, but I’ll take that gamble.

Here's Steve Balmer laughing at the iPhone soon after lunch. In less than 24 months after this interview, Apple overtook Microsoft in the phone business. Reminder to never underestimate the underdog!

Prescription glasses equalized humans with different vision impairments in a span of 500 years (1200- 1700). Now, AI might equalize humans with different IQs in about 10-50 years. In 100 years, no one would notice that people have low IQ.

Robots are equipped with always on cameras. They’ll be running around your homes doing chores in a few years. Bob and smart glasses with vision is the trend of the future. That’s why it’s crucial to build products with user data privacy in mind as we do with Bob. Own your.

The amount of valuable feedback we get while we use our prototype is insane! . There’s no alternative to actually using the device.
