The GoA, after introducing a bill to keep the feds in their own lane,
is now saying CKUA,
which was a made in AB gov't entity serving the prairies for decades,
should be saved by....the Feds?
You can't even make this stuff up.
3. The fed. gov’s Budget ‘24 provides $100M to other public broadcasting corps. and local radio stations ($42M for the CBC), but provided nothing to CKUA. The fed. gov. has provided funds to organizations similar to CKUA in eastern Canada
