i just think that a majority of people dont understand the process of music creation. thats why beats headphones were so popular. people think turning a bass knob to 11 means good sound, which its not. clarity and a good mixdown is everything.

exactly. if dubstep was loaded with sub bass, it would make the entire track muddy. the entire point of it is to make it sound clean and get a good mixdown so you can understand whats going on. if you want blown out bass, go listen to trap.

its probably the riddim transition after the second half of the both drops. you hear the snare go from a tearout snare to more of a clap snare. that was intentional to add a little bit of dynamicism.
