After visiting Doha & Al Udeid Air Force Base with Mayor Barnett, I am also grateful there were no injuries to US service members or our Qatari partners following the strike. New Orleans continues to support efforts that promote peace, security, & stability throughout the region.
Having been to Doha and specifically to the al Udeid Air Force Base, I am relieved that there have been no injuries to either US military members or Qataris from this recent strike. Grateful for our two nations strong partnership and praying that peace will soon prevail.

This past Sunday, I celebrated 60 years of a true New Orleans legacy—Ruth’s Chris Steak House. In 1965, Ruth Fertel turned a small Broad Street spot into a global icon. Cheers to 60 years of excellence, rooted in the soul of our city.
