We finally made it—to the sewer museum (la musée des égouts). The sewers also were the conduit for pneumatic tubes carrying messages for people, see smiling portrait of me in one such passage. Tubes and tubes and tubes!

BREAKING: The Supreme Court just reversed nearly 50 years of precedent and overturned Roe v. Wade, ending the federal constitutional right to abortion. We won't deny what a horrible moment this is. Half of the states are expected to ban abortion.
