The best part about having a pilot driving the header, is that it doesn’t matter which dealer branch has parts in stock when broken down. We can fly them back to the farm ourself! ✈️
Bought this poor neglected 4440 for our auger just on harvest. Thought it deserved better. In the workshop for a quick transformation! Thanks
@EmmettsGroup
for the sticker kit.
Latest innovation! Hydraulic wheel track shift on a grizzly renovator. Shift from 2.2-3m wheel tracks in no time, handy when sharing between neighbors!

Outer boom section was “off” along neighbors fence during fungicide application. Can draw a line where the stripe rust starts and stops. Almost looks like spray drift from a distance.
Paddocks deceivingly wet. Even where we can drive the ute and hard on top, the clay under is saturated when you break through. Couldn’t quite get back on the CTF tracks.
Sometimes it’s hard to pick the wind speed and direction from the tractor cab. Cost nothing to hang a peice of rag off the boom to see conditions and changes.

My one man mobile fill station. Common 2” line for sucking from shuttles and enviros with fresh water flush. Less mess, less exposure, and faster filling. ✅
A new addition to our weather station project is real time inversion monitoring across the district. Another powerful tool for safer spraying and better decision making.
Extremes of our wheat, sown first and last. It will be interesting how they compare end of season. Rockstar sown 23rd April, Scepter sown 18th May. Both on lentil stubble.
Our 4955 is pushing 10,000hours now and it’s the most reliable piece of machinery we have. It’s just had a birthday with a new set of
@HarvestTyres
on the front.👏

Lentils have been hanging on really well given the wet, 80mm over the weekend on this paddock is resulting in some flood irrigation now. Could run for a week. 🤷♂️
120+mm for the last 6weeks has make things pretty damp. Lentils holding up although I think the yellow patches might turn into big yellow patches soon. 🤔😰
Loaded the boom with fungicide and find a broken aluminum join showering chemical. Used the full workshop suite to repair; JB weld, cloth tape, duct tape, shim stock and cable ties! No leaks. 👍
Auger tractor kicked the bucket the first day of harvest, stuck a wanted add on
@FarmTender
and found a tractor within days. Quick trip to collect and ready to work!
