Dream come true working with a footballing legend (even if he played for the wrong team in red). Mine from the initial idea through to scripting, filming, editing and publishing. A labour of love five months in the making. Confirmed and here we go 🔥
Here we go! Happy to announce I’ve signed an interim deal with Dragons Den. Joining the dragons is a dream move and walking into the den for the first time will be a special moment ❤️

It's more or less the same as normal Countdown, except we play it on the street

So if it isn’t a handball it’s a corner then? If we spent five minutes working that out surely we can get the final outcome right.

Surely the passenger has to take priority in this situation? Maddening.

Arrived at Euston to an announcement that we’ve been put onto a platform that already has a train on it. Rather than asking everybody to move to the front of the train to get off, we’re being towed miles out of the station and returned. My window view: We’re at the platform.

If you don’t think Curtis Jones has been the best player on the pitch for Liverpool you are absolutely clueless btw

You might say that’s because of the rules in place in the PL, but that would be naive; PIF want Saudi ubiquity and the endgame for that is a Saudi league packed with stars. Having a team in the PL you’re spending money on instead doesn’t match that goal long term.

Even now with Newcastle you can see that the owners are prioritising the Saudi league and pumping money into NUFC's rivals through large transfer fees. It doesn't take a leap to see what might happen if they were laboured with debt and a disengaged ownership.

Villa are spending 96% of their turnover on wages. Newcastle aren’t generating the money to pay players 300k + a week without owner input. If a club goes into huge amounts of debt and the owner loses interest, it’s curtains. Shareholders are not liable for company debt.

You only need to look at Liverpool themselves; when Hicks and Gillett almost let the club go under they were still worth more than a billion between them. It doesn’t matter how wealthy your owners are: when billionaires stop seeing upside, they’ll leave and let your club die.

There’ll never be a law where owners will put down leverage against financial loss because that would run the risk of the owners making personal losses rather than allowing for unprofitable clubs to go bankrupt, which no billionaire would ever sign up for.

If your A level results are disappointing, don’t worry. I got a C and two Us and now all my cows have TB.
