So PLEASE if nothing else today, just reach out to your friends. Maybe one you haven’t heard from in a while. Ask how they’re doing. Make them feel like they haven’t lost you as a friend, because that feeling comes all too easily to many. Just be kind above all else.

I struggle mightily with depression and anxiety day by day, minute by minute, so thank God for modern medicine and treatments. I wouldn’t be here without it.

Corporate hashtags aside, mental health support and awareness can’t keep being something we only bring up once a year. It just can’t.
