The Coaching Circle is small. Coaches talk. Coaches move around. That coach you "ghosted" may end up being a decision maker for another school or summer team. Small circle. long memory.
Airport advice at 4am:. The D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO coach that you ignore today might end up at a D1 program — or know someone who already is. Coaches talk. Moral of the story: Don’t “big league” coaches who take time out of their day to reach out to you. Respond.
