Our new study shows recent #wildfire have burned ~4000 years accumulated peat in #Tasmania's largest #Ramsar reserve (Lavinia State Reserve) & highlights the urgent need for improved fire and hydrological management to protect the vulnerable system.

Nice to see our preliminary study on the history of the largest forest reserve in Nigeria.@GumtiPark.(#Gashaka Gumti) published and it highlights the need to balance forest targets and the preservation non-forest cultural landscape in the park. Paper link:
