You may have noticed my (apparently) random tweets of patterns and textures, views of the ground like this over the last couple of months. I've been taking these photos most of my adult life, fascinated by the beauty below our feet, natural or man- made, often close up.

@NatureFoodJnl ๐บ๏ธLocation also matters. In the UK, 45% of food is imported, and the overseas biodiversity impact of UK diets is ~20x greater than domestic farming. This is driven by e.g. ๐beef, ๐lamb, โ๏ธcoffee, ๐ซcocoa, ๐bananas & other ๐ฅญtropical goods. 5/x
