Aaand that's a wrap on #sydneysciencetrail! Thanks to everyone who came to check us out at @austmus, we've had a fantastic whirlwind of a week launching our megafauna boardgame for @cabahCoE! Seeing kids' faces light up at our megafauna cards has been a joy I'll never forget 🥲

This was just such a neat little study and such a cool source of new data! (It might be the only set of notes I actually finish this conference and I'm OK with that)

more doodle warmups from this week: a botanical bandicoot (in honour of the little fella snuffling around our back garden right now, digging up all of mum's carefully-laid mulch)

Echidna warmup from today! I've been doodling these lately to loosen up before working on commissions, and can highly recommend the therapeutic properties of inky botanically-ambiguous plants 🌿

couple of journals from my Perth trip in September, which I never got around to posting. something about being in WA makes me want to have a paintbrush in my hand all the time, which hopefully means you'll be seeing a lot more of these soon!

I run on a great 3-month cycle of forgetting twitter exists, suddenly reemerging to speedpost art, then disappearing back into the wilderness again, and I'm gonna miss that when we all give up here. But for now, I have a LOT of old doodles to post, so enjoy a little thylacine ❤

More notes from #amsperth22! These ones are from @YaaraRotman's very cool talk on finding evidence for torpor in squirrel gliders. Always blows my mind how much we still have to learn about marsupial biology! A great talk and some really awesome research from UNE🌡📉

Journals from our #amsperth22 trip to Karakamia sanctuary! Featuring tammars, quendas, woylies, a very heavy-looking brushie mum, and a lovely chunky frog (not a mammal, but still a fan favourite) 🐸

Today I'm catching up on journal sketches in the Perth library! I set myself a goal to fill this whole journal by the end of this trip, and I'm 3 pages away... I've been spoiled for inspiration this week, the wild west is treating me very very well 🧡
