Early morning dash to Black Hole Marsh- the fantastic juv Marsh Sandpiper showing well till 835am at least from Island Hide (only the 4th for Devon and first for 17 years and only my 2nd in Devon)- great find by @Seatonbirder also 2 Little Stints, Ruff- wonder where it was yday?

A great morning at Dawlish Warren-sum plum Knot, 3 Grey Plover, c50 Dunlin, c120 Ringed Plover(inc one ringed bird),3 Turnstone, 9 Whimbrel, Bar T Godwit, 4 Common Tern(2 juvs),92 Sandwich Terns (inc 5 ringed birds), 3Med Gulls (2juvs) c25 Swallow moving thr’ and a Clouded Yellow

Dawlish Warren over this mornings high tide - 5 Common Terns (4 adults), c100 Sandwich Terns, juv YLGull, Sanderling, Greenshank, 3 Dunlin, 2 Whimbrel, 2 Bar Tailed Godwits, 24 Med Gulls and the highlight a yellow/green budgerigar!

The male Woodchat Shrike found this morning by Stephen E still c1130am at Greenland Lake, Dawlish Warren and showing well at times - the first twitchable Devon Woodchat for 5 years- also my 5th at @WarrenBirding and ridiculously my 27th in Devon over the years!

Blyths Reed Warbler at a very wet Berry Head early this morning-another superb find by @clennonvalley whilst sea watching ! ranging c100 yards at the the end of the quarry - others report the bird still present c230pm- only the 4th Devon mainland record-all in the last 9 years

Short video of the Temmincks Stint at Exminster this evening - amazingly only the 2nd Temmincks in Devon in the last ten years ! With the only other one being on the same pool a year ago !

A real Devon rarity nowadays - a Turtle Dove in a private field off Bridge Road,Churston near Brixham - found earlier by Josh M and still present 235pm when flew up out of field and landed in a bush out of sight- viewed from gateway from road
