Forgot to mention saw about 1m long snake while lying on the beach at Cala Saladeta Ibiza but by the time I got my phone out the bag and run to where I saw it to take a pic it was MIA. Such a shame as I'm sure it would've been a first for me. πππ.

Take a guess which palm it liked to sit in. yip you guessed it, the tallest of the 3, the 1 on the right. It liked to sit on the first cut off leaf stalk on the left hand side of the trunk up there.
Euro Scops Owls. 1 of 4 in our finca garden. Photographing these at night was a bit of a challenge. Initially I had no chance then the owner of the property loaned me his torch which gave me a fighting chance. This night it sat up there calling for almost 30mins. Ibiza πͺπΈ

Our last full day tomorrow so we're going large as Kevin and Perry would say. But this is how my day started today and ended with a 20 min session of a calling Scops Owl in our gardens. Sat on top of a VERY tall palm but luckily for me right out in the open got a piccie or 2.

3 days left on Ibiza π, gotta make em count so the Mrs got me up at Sparrows this morning to watch the sun come up. πͺπΈπ

A few species I see everyday walking around our farmstead here on Ibiza. Also I see about 70-80 Turtles Doves around here too. pretty easily everyday, which is awesome. We have 7 Stone Curlew below the farm house but they are flighty as hell.

This now makes me look like a complete idiot cos I can't even find 1 Scops in the garden during the day, let alone 4. π€¦π€¦π€£π€£.
We have a family of 4 Scops Owls in the garden!! I know this cos we had all 4 on 1 branch tonight. Even had the 'Reluctant Birder,' aka the Mrs, holding the torch for me so I could steady the camera better. She was loving it. These pics have 2 of the 4 in em, 1 obscured. Ibiza πͺπΈ

Small flocks of Little Stint all over the Salinas here on Ibiza which is great too see. This flock had an accompanying Kentish Plover along with it's juvi offspring. Ses Salinas Ibiza πͺπΈ
