Credit Accounts are coming to Rujira, and they will enable borrowing and liquidations in a fair and transparent way for everyone. But what happens when the collateral from a borrowing position gets liquidated? Our intern made a short thread to explain the general idea.
Quick Intro on Lend, Borrow, Liquidate. You borrow $800, backed by $1000 worth of BTC, resulting in an 80% Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio. If BTC's value drops to $850, the LTV exceeds the 90% liquidation limit. Consequently, the borrower's position will be partially liquidated 🧵👇
