Alcohol free beer isn't what it used to be. It's good now. Exciting, even. Read @markdredge on Mash Gang and get into their easy-going, inclusive, shame-free mindset on drinking, whether your bev of choice is alcoholic or not. https://t.co/zb7fg52BwH

Nine out of every 10 beers drunk around the world are lagers. But for all of its ubiquity, lager yeast’s origins remain a 500-year-old mystery. In his new story, @markdredge hunts for the truth—and discovers how lager yeast’s past may shape its future. https://t.co/ahWSbapAoL

The thing I liked most about writing this was learning how Steve raced every single one of those 1,000 marathons and never took one easy! Inspiring stuff.

I ran the Boston Marathon a week ago today! A new PB of 2:57:12 on a hard, hilly course, in unexpectedly hot weather. Fully refreshed myself afterwards with lots of lovely Notch beer!

From one hop to another, let’s explore the minds of head brewers as they talk hop varieties. This episode of ‘Spreading Hoppiness’ unpicks the thoughts of head brewers as they take us through each round of the International Hop Awards, and give us their much-valued opinions.

It could be anything at all! A singular flavour (like a specific fruit, herb or aroma find in nature) or combined flavours (like pina colada or mocha). There are no wrong answers here!

I’m working on the next beer flavour tool - a companion and extension to the Beer Flavour Wheels. I’m collecting as many flavours as I can as I build this out. Are there any flavours you find in beer which are not in the existing wheels?
