iOS low power mode no longer seems to be turning on automatically when my battery reaches 20%. I noticed it as early as 16.1; on 16.1.2 now. Has anyone else seen this?

As a bonus for us nerds, you get to experience a whole new set of iOS UI, such as two sets of network signal strength indicators and a "From" field/indicator on your text messages and calls designating which line was used. Fun!

This used to be a big issue for me when swapping physical SIM cards on previous trips back in the day. Maybe it has gotten better in recent years, but I can't speak to that. I haven't done this in a while!

It has also been nice to be able to keep my primary line active (with data roaming disabled). That way, iMessage still sends/receives messages with my primary number, despite operating over my travel cell plan. It just works!

I am sure there are regions where eSim has not gained a strong foothold yet, but in my browsing of Airalo, there seem to be a lot of options, and with many new iPhones launching without an option for physical SIM cards, I have to imagine this will accelerate the transition.
