Ten years ago today at 12:30pm UK time I went into an operating room at Addenbrokes Hospital.
About 12 hours later I came round with a new kidney and pancreas both of which worked.
No more insulin, no more dialysis.
I will never forget my donor.

8 years ago today I received a life saving kidney and pancreas transplant in Addenbrookes hospital Cambridge.
Thanks to the family of my 14 year old donor I have been able go to some amazing places and have some great experiences.
Every day is a bonus😊
