It’s taken awhile, but looks like Alphabet has now leapt to the front of the LLM pack with Gemini 3. No one should be surprised: these guys developed the first version of this new AI tech, and have the best data set in the world, including YouTube, the world’s biggest video

From here on out, China should be on a downward emissions path. It’s remarkable to think this has arrived 5 years ahead of schedule. In the next 5 years, renewables will more than close out the energy gap and begin active displacement of coal in the energy mix. China set a

I would never short a stock or even a market index. Not because I don’t think stocks will drop, but because Keynes’ famous adage is true: “markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent”. The problem with putting on a short is that there is a specific time frame

Has China just produced another DeepSeek moment? Looks like Kimi 2 is blowing people away with its performance. But best of all is the cost - less than 10% of ChatGPT 5 with decent quality. And if the figures are true that it cost only $4.2mn to train, that’s a tiny fraction
