Started a new Rails app, but away from the defaults for a change. Inertia, React, TypeScript, shadcn, Tailwind, rspec, factory_bot etc etc. The lot. See how long this lasts 🫣.

Couldn't imagine using AI without tests. They keep it honest and on track with new stuff and act as a memory to not blow up old stuff. It's pretty good at writing them too.

Asking ChatGPT to "write a tutorial that explains. " has been a good learning aid. It's teaching me game development in Godot!.

Also added a command + hotkey to toggle linting checks on the current note. Useful for brainstorming notes etc. where the linting is a distraction. The choice persists when reopening, moving or renaming the note too.

@ryancarson Worked on some more requested features tonight. Added an "Enable by default" setting to choose whether linting should be enabled when opening or creating notes. Thanks Copilot ✌️

I added a requested feature to make checks toggleable in my "Write Good" Obsidian plugin. Copilot got this done in about 30ish mins using the PRD workflow I learnt from @CasJam's recent YouTube vid. Love it!

✨ Just spotted the Copilot plugin in Jetbrains IDEs (PhpStorm, RubyMine etc) now supports agent mode. Never opening VS Code again 😎
