The richest people I know all worked hard on something boring for 5+ years. And most did this for 10-20+ years. People have gotten the totally wrong idea about what it means to be an early stage entrepreneur. They truly believe that in less than a year they can launch a

The older I get, the more I realize you can get pretty damn far in life by just doing what most people avoid. Wake up early. Focus deeply. Move your body. Eat real foods. Obsess over one thing. Read old books. Be present. Have difficult conversations. The recipe for a good life.

My dad turns 70 today. No single person has had a greater impact on how I move through the world. But he rarely sat me down to teach lessons or offer lectures. He just lived in a way that showed me what mattered most. Here are 7 lessons he taught me—by living them: 1. Always

A few controversial things I believe: 1) A grown man with a family has no business getting on a ladder to put up Christmas lights. 2) a larger vehicle is safer than a smaller vehicle. Put your family in an SUV. Period. Crash ratings are a scam. 3) Pitbulls are a public
