A reminder that the first ever women’s college basketball game to air on Fox was just two years ago. Imagine where the popularity of wbb would be with more network TV exposure before this.
The UConn-South Carolina women's basketball game nearly matched the Tottenham-Manchester City game's TV audience: 1.087 million v 1.109 million.
Hoops was on Fox. Soccer was on NBC.

When you talk about “revenue” just remember the NCAA men’s basketball tournament had about a 40 year head start on the women’s. NBA came 50 years before the W. Despite a fraction of coverage, marketing, funding & resources the women’s game is growing along with equal opportunity.
