Law 180, outlawing psychiatric hospitals in Italy, came into effect 46 years ago. In the 1980's British traditionalists presented it as a total disaster, & believed it would be repealed soon. Fast forward to 2024,people from all over the world(UK included)are inspired by Trieste.
Il #13maggio 1978 entra in vigore la legge 180, meglio nota come legge Basaglia, che abolisce i manicomi, sostituiti da apposite strutture di assistenza psichiatrica. È una vera e propria rivoluzione in ambito psichiatrico.
