Honestly, Rails+postgres/mysql is enough to build a startup. It gets out of your way allowing you to focus on the product. It will take you farther than you think. “Boring” tech is your friend.

The person who thought of putting this in the Masters of The Universe trailer is a master shitposter and a marketing genius.

Wait 3 days. I started using that rule when I was writing political commentary. It was to prevent bad and hasty takes that get invalidated because something was debunked or turned out to be a nothing burger. But that rule also makes sense in tech. I was interested in the Ralph

So if agents can build everything does it mean that everyone will have their own custom IDE tailored perfectly to their process and needs?

I’ve had it with vagueposters. From now on, I see a vaguepost, I ban. You have something to say - SAY IT

I think the biggest skill right now is gonna be ability to context switch at light speed. If you have multiple agents working parallel on different tasks, switching between them can be very mentally draining. ADHD people are gonna rock the future.

One nifty feature of Conductor is showing the session cost in $. I’m on Claude Max, so $100/mo. I had a one session cost $124. There is no way this is sustainable. But that led me to a thought - what happens when AI companies stop subsidizing? What if we’re so dependent on

What do you mean people say "don't use git worktrees, it's too complex". It's like 3 commands (add, list, remove). And stuff like @conductor_build automates it away.

After working with @conductor_build for a while, I have to say that it is the biggest productivity unlock I’ve had in a very long time. Having separate sessions for separate tasks, isolated in a worktree, with full chat history, great git management. It checks all my boxes.

AI won’t be democratized until LLMs run locally on consumer hardware. And it’s not right now because the big players don’t want it democratized. They want control and they want everyone else dependent on their products.

Oh so that’s why twitter is even more unusable recently
> be nikita bier > non-technical Berkeley grad > slew of failed slop apps before hitting virality with `tbh` via growth hack trickery > sold tbh to facebook, shut down less than a year later due to low usage > rugged fb, hell yeah > new app gas sold to discord > shut down less
