To all #OnceUponAFranchise listeners: Due to Christmas break, we won't be able to publish new episodes until mid-January. We will, however, continue to record, so keep participating in the upcoming tweets about the next MCU films. We'll release two eps per week after we return!

I sincerely believe a combined cut of The Way of Water + Fire and Ash would make an incredible sequel to the first Avatar with all the issues that I have about the two films handled seamlessly.

I think my 2026 resolution - that I promise I will try to keep for as long as I can - will be to actually call people I can only see once a year at LFF & catch up more often. Why not, right? Maybe organizing some online game night, chatting & having fun...

You know what's the film that's been on my mind ever since I watched it & that I really, really wish I could see again right now? THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE.

GOODBYE JUNE: death isn't just an ending, but the final chapter of a life where love is the only thing that survives the eternal silence. #GoodbyeJune An intimate study of the fragility of family ties, balancing Kate Winslet's sensitive, atmospheric direction with overwhelming

Sure, let's compare a 20-second teaser of a simple character reveal with a full-on prologue - of I'm assuming many minutes - that actually had stuff to cheer for 🤦♂️
when the AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY trailer played there wasn’t a single clap in the entire sold out IMAX theater, just total silence. when the prologue for THE ODYSSEY played, everyone was audibly locked in, and cheered and clapped the second it ended. That’s the movies right there

For the love of media, if you’re going to post a screenshot of an article, which is fine, I get it, please link the article somewhere in your thread or on your post. I promise it won’t take away engagement from your content! But it means a lot of the people who wrote that!!

Predicting #AvengersDoomsday to be a mess? Sure. Expecting it to be negatively received? Maybe, yeah. But anyone doubting, even for a second, that it's going to be one of the biggest box-office results of that year & even of all-time... now, that's just silly.

Jokes aside, I'm actually glad he mentioned peripheral vision because that's precisely my one & only rule. Doesn't matter if it's IMAX, big screen, small screen... I sit as much in the center as possible & my eyes/head shouldn't move an inch to see the whole screen.

Thank you, James Cameron, for explaining one of the world's most complex questions that truly needed an expert on the matter to tell the audience that the best possible spot to watch a movie in the theater is... The center. Wow. Unreal.

Why am I seeing so many tweets in my feed about people going to see #AvatarFireAndAsh without having seen the second film? What silliness is this?

AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH — James Cameron's technical showmanship remains a wonder of the modern era, but the saga's narrative soul seems to be suffocating under the weight of its own ashes, waiting for a fire that actually changes the course of history. #AvatarFireAndAsh An

James Cameron finds himself between technical brilliance & creative stagnation in #AvatarFireAndAsh. Pandora looks better than ever, but is a visual feast enough when it's all just a rehash of what came before? Read my review for @MoviesWeTexted below.

Writing about James Cameron (Titanic) is always an exercise in managing expectations. It’s a precarious balance between recognizing his technical genius and the hope, sometimes frustrated, that the...

Not only I don't recall from which film this still is, but I also have no idea what the OP is trying to hint at 😅
