Do you think the narrative around transportation equity would change if we stopped calling people who walk "pedestrians" and just call them "people"?

Doctor's receptionist: Hi Samantha, we're just calling to let you know your grandmother is ready. Me: Tell her I died.

I'd say Lenny Kravitz is aging like fine wine but he still grape juice.

What are people calling non-electric bikes these days? Because I just saw someone non-ironically refer to them as "meat bikes" and I literally can't.

Literally the last thing I'm wondering when I'm grating cheese into my mouth is, "is this low carb?"

Older men have no conversational foreplay. You can't even take a walk, shop for groceries, or sit in your own front yard without getting am earful these days. Idk if this is a post-pandemic or exposure thing, but why didn't the #MeToo movement cover this? Thoughts?

A small study revealed that the number of times the phrase, "sweetie, don't bite the bee" is spoken is positively correlated with the number of flowers in the direct vicinity of one dog.

Interestingly enough, all of the things after "road design" can be traced back to road design.

Also a reminder that this isn't just engineering. It's an ideology. What will it take to sell you autobots on better streets?

Reminder that cities don’t need big wide over-engineered streets to have successful streetcars/LRT/transit. Here, Lisbon.

I'm not saying it can't ever be done. But in our lifetime? Or our children's? It's like herding cats that are rapidly reproducing mid-stride.

The anecdotal couple-block stretches of street improvements in major cities are wins. But they are far from keeping pace with the billions still being wasted in highway expansions and auto infrastructure let alone reverse the destruction of the past century.

The guy is not wrong. The US has neither the government nor the ideology to create a solid foundation for the sweeping policy changes that are needed to prioritize safe streets and quality of life.

Did you know that $1,200,000,000 of our tax dollars paid are paying for this? Free roads??? We don’t think so. https://t.co/fgKKcMSpV2
