             Very sad news indeed. Roger was a long-time friend and supporter of the Mannheim Centre. Deepest condolences to his family. 
           That is very sad. Roger was a regular & irrepressible presence around LSE & Mannheim for 30 years or so. Always engaged & engaging, always up to something new, fingers in pies everywhere. Pathbreaking fly on the wall TV, from Thames Valley police onward.
