Even as I continue to fail and not make all the choices that I wish I would, I continue to get up and press forward trying to live according to my aspirations, because the person I am becoming is stronger than the person I am now, and will eventually overcome. I fail, but each

@JustinMeas72414 @LukeFHan You have your facts wrong, but beyond that I think you’re still missing the crux of the argument here. @grok could you list each of the 11 official witnesses of the Gold Plates, which ones fell away, which ones came back, and which ones denied their testimonies?

The overconfidence I'm seeing when people post about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) and assert knowledge about what they think (LDS) believe is astounding. They are usually so far off, but extremely confident about it. Gives me Dunning Kruger effect

Soapbox. Asking people to use specific pronouns is stupid. Pronouns are only used in the third person, when talking ABOUT someone WHEN THEY AREN'T THERE. When someone demands specific pronouns, they’re asking you to align your speech with their personal truth, even in their

The pride flag, tied to sexual orientation, is an adult symbol that doesn’t belong in schools with young children. Kids don’t grasp orientation—it’s irrelevant to their play and learning. Displaying the flag signals adult values, but it disturbingly exposes kids to mature

"When we pray, we are not conveying any information to God that he does not already have. Nor, when we confess our sins before him, is it news to him that we have misbehaved...being honest with God in our prayers helps us to be more honest with ourselves." ~ Neal A. Maxwell

A sign that you've made a compelling argument is when others disagree by misrepresenting it. effectively they create a straw man—a distorted version of your position, that they then attack. This tactic reveals the robustness of your reasoning, as it shows they’re sidestepping a
