Agree with this take. In some companies, I've seen people get penalized for saying "I don't know", but I always support the "I don't know" because it's better to say that than to mislead.
the smartest people I know say "I don't know" often. but then read about it, and revert back with an opinionated point of view. the least smart people I know talk about everything confidently. and when you probe deeper with data, they become even more defensive.

This would be a strong miss. Google needs great operations and to let their best talent build. Deepmind & Demis needs to be focused on AGI, not running the mothership and optimizing for ad-revenue.
