Here are some photos of billboards from my fieldwork in Lyari in 2013, before the launch of the Operation when the Uzair-led, Rehman-founded People's Aman Committee (PAC) ruled much of Lyari. The PAC's collusion with powerful forces was made very clear to Lyari's residents.
Also for those PPP supporters losing their minds about the film's implication that their party was involved. That is perhaps the only truth in the film. The PPP enabled the gangs & used them to counter the MQM. They have never been held accountable for the blood on their hands.
