Why I will be voting for Prime Minister Modi & his government As a rule, I have not spoken on politics in the past. IтАЩd like to break this self-imposed rule this time. I support Prime Minister Modi and his national government. I think itтАЩs crucial to vote for our Prime

We will accept the Greek god of Medicine Asclepius and his serpent-entwined staff but will reject the Indian god of Medicine Dhanwantari and his leech-entwined conch, as the symbol of our Medical institutions. Physician, heal thyself.

I am just making a common-sense point on the Apple alert issue. Just read the language of the notification. It is full of loaded language like "because of who you are or what you do" - hardly a technical alert. Also odd how it states "state-sponsored" without any proof 1/n

I've been saying this for so long. It's become fashionable reinterpret the great epics of India. Anybody who understands the civilizational values will easily be able to differentiate between heroes and villains. Politically motivated twisted interpretations notwithstanding.

Unraveling the Karna myths. Here is a list of myths about Karna with real facts from Vyasa Mahabharata. 1) Was Karna a low-caste? Answer is no! He was the son of a Suta, born to a Kshatriya and a Brahmana. It was a class of society and not considered low-caste. @Sai_swaroopa

Enjoy this loving musical tribute by Mukesh et al to one of the greatest masterpieces of Indian literature. The singing, musical interludes, composition are all done with great love. Haven't heard a better musical version of Shri Ramcharitmanas. https://t.co/oFbjvffTL8

Patayat Sahu, from Kalahandi, has spent his entire life making an astonishing garden of 3000 medicinal plants. He has catalogued his plants in two illustrated volumes but doesnтАЩt have money to publish them. He treats everyone for free. He is this yearтАЩs recipient of Padma Shri.

A setback maybe, but how is the Afghanistan situation a "humiliation" for India? There is nothing that India did to precipitate this situation. Surely, this is really a humiliation for NATO ...... but, of course, some brown people need to share the blame......

Even if you don't have time to listen to the entire track and series, I'd strongly recommend listening to the first 13 minutes today on Ram Navami. It is simply great.

It is good to see global "experts" take such an interest in Indian agriculture. Perhaps they should ask their own governments why they keep complaining to WTO about support to Indian farmers. Meanwhile, look forward to introduction of APMC mandis in Sweden & US

Ramakrishna is Paramahamsa - not 'Great Swan' Shivaji is Chatrapati - not 'Lord of Umbrella'. Because of the wide gulf between Sanskrit & English with respect to genius, sentence structure and turn of thought, a verbal translation from Sanskrit to English would be disastrous.

The use of recreational drugs and the culture that goes with it is harming the youth all over the world. It damages mental and physical health, ruins education, and often supports extremist ideologies and beliefs. Sadly the media hides or glorifies it.

The unfortunate demise of Pandit Jasraj Ji leaves a deep void in the Indian cultural sphere. Not only were his renditions outstanding, he also made a mark as an exceptional mentor to several other vocalists. Condolences to his family and admirers worldwide. Om Shanti.
