Now that Delhi HC advocate Shwetasree Majumdar has withdrawn her consent to be appointed as judge, SC collegium should ask govt why her appointment was stalled at the last minute. She deserves the truth. Otherwise good lawyers will continue to refuse to give consent for judgeship.

If @BhagwantMann govt is serious about really nailing Bikram Majithia, it may want to take guidance from ex-DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyaya. After all, one case against Majithia was regd in Dec 2021 when Chattopadhyaya was DGP. Majithia used to even take his name during 2022 polls.

As @bsmajithia is arrested by PB Vigilance Bureau for having assets more than income, one can’t but recall that last time PB govt arrested his bro-in-law @officeofssbadal and others, @capt_amarinder was CM & VB case fell flat. Even IO turned hostile, was granted extn in service.
