The inspiration behind the cover of our new book Sun Horse, Moon Horse by Rosemary Sutcliff - #ravilious #uffingtonwhitehorse @rsutcliff.
The Vale of the White Horse, Eric Ravilious, 1939. It depicts the landscape at Uffington, #Oxfordshire (when painted it was in #Berkshire). The original artwork is in the collection of @Tate.

The Armourer’s House by Rosemary Sutcliff: a Tale of Tudor London, introduced by @LondonMudlark. I loved this book so much as a child that it inspired me to read history at university and then to set up Manderley Press - so I could bring it back to life for a new generation 📚🧡

Just, you know, the time @Fearnecotton shared a photo of our book Letter from New York by Helene Hanff on Instagram. No big deal. (Publisher leaps around kitchen, whooping and doing a jig.). Yours, playing it cool, always,. Rebeka x

A fascinating read and an honour to be mentioned in this @irishexaminer article by @karlwhitney about unearthing lost books (in which I discuss our new edition of Washington Square by Henry James, introduced by Colm Tóibín)

First - hone the smidgeling of an idea. Then surround yourself with piles of book boxes - and the very best of people. Finally - publish, pick, wrap, beribbon, package and post. Voila. Publishing ballet. Thanks for capturing the magic @GenevieveLutkin ⚡️
