World Wildlife Day 2025 was celebrated by sharing knowledge with over 1,750 young minds across 40 schools located on the outskirts of Manas TR. Additionally, a pledge to protect wildlife was taken by students at schools in the surrounding villages.

Manas Mitra: A meeting was held between FD & DD of Manas TR with 18 EDC presidents & 53 headmen from fringe villages along Bansbari & Kuklung focusing on human-elephant conflict & park protection. ECOH20 filters were given as gratitude for their efforts in safeguarding landscape.

Five months of dedication paid off: On Feb 21, 2025, Manas Tiger Reserve team apprehended Sri Sadhin Narzary in Udalguri District, seizing two elephant tusks (13kg), WagonR & mobile phone. Operation led by Sri Sheshidhar Reddy IFS with support from park staff and AFPF Bn.
