I talk about this often. If you need a sign, it’s bad design. Just narrow the streets.
Reducing the width of car lanes might be the fastest & cheapest way to improve public safety. It's traffic calming that's achieved through maintenance. Every time a crew goes out to resurface or repaint a street, they tighten it up.

Even a park road needs a haircut every once in a while. The radius of this intersection in Shawnee Mission Park was 90', it is now 30'. Appropriately sized roads and intersections create a safer and more efficient user experience for all. 🚗🚶🚲👩🦽🛴🚚
