It is worth remembering that many Irish citizens did not have a “fantastic working relationship with the British Armed Forces”. Internment Atrocities, Bloody Sunday, Ballymurphy, Springhill. Organising, arming, intelligence to Loyalist paramilitaries. UDR needed disbanding Etc.
The Defence Forces have always had a fantastic working relationship with the British Armed Forces, often working along side each other during challenging operations & training exercises.
