this is superb. _Years from now, historians will wonder how liberals lost any reputation for machismo to pampered Silicon Valley oddballs and a US vice-president who gives every impression of owning a light saber. _

Important insights in the "future of SaaS" debate. So great to see @klarnaseb clear up the story and dispel myths around the role of SaaS at Klarna and in the wider industry. The future belongs to AI-native software, and a lot is going to come from specialised software vendors.

Yes, we did shut down Salesforce a year ago, as we have many SaaS providers—an internal estimate is about 1,200 SaaS shut down. No, I don't think it is the end of Salesforce; might be the opposite. Here is what actually happened and how/why we originally intended to NOT share.

AI is production-ready now and it can help pull quantum and fusion closer. AI needs energy, and fusion can deliver. Quantum can help make AI faster. It's all very synergistic. There is opportunity in the convergence. Look out for the places where the dots connect.

Some really interesting AI, quantum, and fusion announcements last week. In themselves Grok 3 and Veo 2 AI announcements, Microsoft’s Majorana 1 Quantum chip, and France’s 22-min Fusion record were super interesting. But it is in combination that they become extra powerful.
