This one is a bit tough because he’s a perfect defense/pinch-runner type you need in the playoffs.
Not gonna lie, this one stings a little more. Wishing Brandon all the best as he continues his journey with the Brewers organization. Thank you for everything you gave to San Diego and El Paso.

It looks like the Padres will emerge from the trading deadline with a complete lineup, a strong starting rotation, a dominant bullpen, and an upgraded bench. The cost? Well, we can worry about that later.

I think Butterworth will be a big leaguer. Fine with moving him but he’s a good player. One of the risers in the system this year.

If I’m a Royals fan, I’m stoked about the Fermin trade. They have some good catchers and they added two cheap arms to fill out the back of the rotation for the next few years. Fermin isn’t much of an upgrade offensively but I’ll have to do more homework to understand.
