The irony is that you call her Prof while asking why her qualifications aren't being scrutinised . She is no professor .
Prof Mary de Haas is a great example of white mediocrity that pass as competency. If she was black her qualifications would be under scrutiny but she is white so she gets a pass. It’s nice to be white!

The road is pretty much unusable or use at own peril. Heavy dust buildup and flooding after rain effectively closing a lane and creating a public nuisance (and dirty cars!). When will permanent maintenance begin? See video from this AM #CEOsCleanUpJoburg

After what felt like a long time waiting to buy bread (maybe 5-10 mins) I chose to abandon the queue and go to Checkers to buy the loaf of bread. There the experience was worlds apart - atleast 5 tills were open and zero people waiting in queue. Although the loaf of brown bread

with only 2 tills open + the kiosk that had its own little queue. The line starting growing and the 2nd cashier, I guess had to go on tea, effectively leaving 1 till open. No explanation was offered as to why the 2nd till was closing whilst we waited impatiently.
