Low latency acceleration over object storage… sounds like @spice_ai
I don’t think this take will age well. The industry keeps separating storage and compute then opening the door to competitors to bring them back close together. I think best DB companies will allow you to config local low latency storage or config benefits of network storage.

I think GitHub needs competition. I’m not convinced that either Codeberg or sourcehut are the solution. I find both completely non enjoyable to use. They would need a lot of love to get to where GitHub is today, even with all of its faults.

Folks, know this - There's NO replacement for an experience of building and scaling systems on PRODUCTION. When I interview candidates, many have 10+ years of experience. But very few have actually built something that is used by real users in production. Fewer still, have stuck
