You can really build anything with
@medusajs
but we've made recipes for some of the most common business structures... And I have tried to illustrate some of them 🤪
The
@medusajs
UI Component Library will go live tomorrow and will include both Light and Dark modes 🥷🏼
...Can't wait to go back to doing Light Designs again! 🥸
The majority of
@medusajs
admin consists of tables. It's not the most exciting thing to share tbh 😅... but here is a sneak peek into parts of the discount domain.
We try to treat the
@medusajs
Docs as a product! 😇 This is the latest conceptual experiment with unusual navigation and floating action buttons. Wdyt? Does it work?
I want to share more often 🤪 Today I polished the customer details page for the
@medusajs
admin. Pain: We support that you can add an unlimited number of addresses...
Edit media modal for the product details page - We are increasing the information density and making everything a bit more "tight and lean" for the
@medusajs
admin 3.0 🤓😬
I don't know what to call this component but we want to use it to control table actions in
@medusajs
admin 🤷🏻♂️ Should we do the dark or light edition?
Hard stock with this decision for the
@medusajs
admin 😅 Sidebar with a border and white background or nah? 🤷🏻♂️ I kinda like the one without background the most but it disappears a little on larger screens...
We need to update the current "content wrapper" in the
@medusajs
admin - This one is my favorite exploration so far 👷🏻♂️ wdyt? Should we go with this one?
I think navigation on mobile can be complex. Currently experimenting with a floating button concept for the
@medusajs
website. Please help a friend and point me toward someone who you think nailed the mobile nav 😬😇
@adamwathan
Crazy! I want to give a shout-out to my dear colleague
@kafkjs
- It is actually his birthday today and he deserves a little him-time after spending hours and hours handling my demanding designs 😍 And he lives in Copenhagen.
Very simple search concept for the
@medusajs
docs 🔍 The idea is that you can go cmd + k, start typing, and navigate the results with the arrows on your keyboard.
At
@medusajs
most technical articles include an architectural diagram. We think it would be good to have a standardized design for them that community writers can use to create their own diagrams 👇🏼
Day 06/30 of creating components for the
@medusajs
design system - We operate with two types of modals. A side drawer mainly for quick editing and a full screen (almost) for when you need to enter 'focus mode'.
Creating components for the
@medusajs
design system ✨Made it to Day 05/30. We call this the 'Advanced code snippet'. Used mainly for our documentation site.

Hmm all e-com sites will eventually need some customization. When that happens, other platforms require you to hack your way around APIs. We allow you to build the customizations natively through our framework, making developers faster and the stack much easier to maintain. 😇

Hehe yes, something like that 😇 To have everything always available. Do you have something specific in mind? Swap the default sidebar with the settings sidebar? We also experimented with some horizontal navigation but some users have a lot of extensions = long scroll.
