After my son Jordan was murdered, we fought for justice. My son's killer is now serving a life sentence. This is not how we show our gratitude to our law enforcement and their families for their service.

Members of law enforcement laid their lives on the line to protect American democracy on Jan 6. Now, these officers and their families live with the knowledge that their violent attackers have been set free. I know the fear & pain that comes with losing a loved one to violence.

For too many Georgia families, health care is out of reach. This statement is disappointing. Georgians deserve better.

Today, we celebrated Pride and ensuring people have the support to be their true and authentic selves. 💛

Georgia’s families send their kids to school each day wondering if it will be their last. Children cry out in classrooms for change because gun violence will not stop until their leaders are brave enough to act. We MUST answer their calls for change.

Last week, I stood on stage at the Democratic Convention and called for an end to the violence. We, as elected officials, have the power to stop it. We just need the courage.

Georgia is the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement. We refuse to let ANYBODY take away our voting rights. We're not going back.

We refuse to stand by while the very foundation of our Democracy is under attack. We will stand strong and fight back in the face of extremism.
