Today, America broke our hearts but won’t break our souls. We won’t be silenced. We’ve fought long and hard, and there's an even bigger fight ahead of us – but I know this: We’ll win the fight for reproductive freedom in the long game. We’re built for this.

I can’t help but wonder about the divine moment of her transition today — of all days. A transition into a new and concerning era for our nation, and the commemoration of MLK. It’s a last reminder from Cecile to stay grounded in our fight and passionate about freedom and justice.

We are devastated to have lost Cecile Richards. Without question, she made Planned Parenthood the force that it is today. She was a POWERHOUSE and pushed this org to be the smartest, nimblest, most innovative 100+-year-old org we could be.

I’m inspired by the selection of my friend George Soros who is one of our leading defenders of inclusive and accountable democracy and vibrant civil society. His accomplishments, in the face of distortions and threats from extremists, will be lauded well into the future.

The fight for reproductive freedom doesn’t stop, no matter who is in office. We are still fighting for a national, durable, expansive right to abortion that no politician, judge, or lawyer can take away.

If you’re nervous about navigating the holidays with relatives who are anti-abortion, know this: You know what you are fighting for. The belief that everyone deserves the right to control their own bodies, futures, lives.

Am I the only one just learning ‘sexy perimenopause fiction’ is a genre? Will there be post menopause fan fiction? Also is it hot in here or is that also me? #askingforgenx

SCOTUS continues to make clear that people’s ability to choose their sexual and reproductive health care provider is in jeopardy. See you at the Supreme Court. #ImForPP.

Everyone should have the freedom to get sexual and reproductive health care from a provider they trust — no matter their income or insurance status. Planned Parenthood health centers provide essential care, and South Carolinians trust @PPSouthAtlantic to get the care they need.

Porsha Ngumezi should be here today. She deserved proper miscarriage care, but Texas’s abortion bans prevent doctors from performing common, life-saving procedures. She deserved to get the care she needed.

Proud is an understatement. Could not think of a person more deserving of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. @CecileRichards, you’re an inspiration to all of us fighting for reproductive freedom. Congrats. 🩷.

Trust me, I’m feeling many of the same feelings you are right now — fear, sadness, anger. I’ll practice more self-care than usual — but trust me, this is all in preparation to fight back harder.

There is not a single community in the U.S. where the top concern is one's gender identity or pronouns. Arguing otherwise puts the most vulnerable at risk. Our movement promised protection & solidarity, which we will deliver—regardless of who is in office.

Joe Biden once said, “You can’t love your country only when you win,” and that sentiment rings true today. I’m so damn proud of the work you’ve all put into this election. And please remember: this fight is FAR from over.
