For me, one of the highlights of 2024 was being awarded the USERN Prize in Formal Sciences 🏆by @Usern_net - so this is an opportunity to say *thank you* 🙏 to all those who made it possible: mentors and colleagues, but also family & friends over many years: this is for you!

I came to the UK as an undergraduate to pursue my love for both science and philosophy – a passion that was nurtured by my family and by incredibly dedicated high school teachers in Italy. So this award is also for them.

2/ Over 98% of pipelines fail at least one criterion. Some pipelines even produce results that are not only misleading, but *systematically* so 🤯. We highlight a small but consistent set of optimal pipelines that meet every single criterion in every single dataset

6/ Overall, anaesthetised human brains lose their distinctiveness not only among individuals but also across species. These effects generalise across anaesthetics, and are reversed upon recovery ⏪⏪.
