We have licensed quite a few things from Universal. We'd be happy to talk. Sure there would be costs but we ensure all costs are covered before anyone takes a cent and then we pay artists 75% of the profits. It's not the 100% you'd get if you did it yourself but it's pretty good

When folks complain about the price of vinyl i often use this example. £22 is a lot of money. It's almost enough to pay for 1/5th of a ticket to see Adele in a field behind a VIP tent.

Yep, unfortunately the supply side has been mired in problems the last couple years, meaning we've had to increase prices, plus there's inflation.
For reference, a new LP was around £5 in 1980, a pint .50p
I'd say average LP these days is £22, pint about £4-£5.. so could be worse
