Inside each learner there are hidden gems of potential. Our biggest job as educators is to find and unlock that potential and to show our students their magnificence. This starts with being present & noticing. What you look for, you find. Find the good and the good gets better.

Today's read aloud was eagerly read by a classmate, who shared a book that is important to her & her family at this time of year. My favorite part was a tie between her inflection/ emotion while reading & the Q&A afterwards by her peers. She was a star. #IHPromise @IHElementary

To practice flexible thinking on this Wellness Wednesday, we created a new use for an item. Introducing: a triangle maker (from toilet paper roll & puffballs) & a marker bracelet (from handle of paper bag.) I will never need to search for a marker again! #IHPromise @IHElementary
