I can’t believe @RiyaPatel_1 just presented her completion seminar, it feels like just yesterday when we first started our Honours year together in the lab 😭 So proud of all that you’ve achieved!! You’re at the finishing line of the PhD now 🥳

Can’t believe @LorneCancer conference is over already! I’m leaving with a lot of inspiration, new friends and a bit of fomo because I have not done RNA seq at the single cell level 👀

When you’re 11 hours into a genomic DNA extraction protocol because your kit uses gravity flow instead of ultracentrifugation but you finally see globs of DNA during isopropanol precipitation!! Phew 😮💨

The lineup for the #MDHSGRC22 did not disappoint! Very insightful plenary speakers and amazing presentations from diverse graduate researchers. Also so grateful to have been awarded an oral presentation prize, especially alongside peers @SrimayeeV @keziahting
