In our school other support staff are having to cover breaks due to lack of staff. You can hear a collective groan go round when we hear ‘two bells’ 🤦🏼♀️

We had the day of go out...and then run back in screaming as the heavens waited for us every time, daily mile, morning play, lunchtime play. Managed a play this afternoon but some chn were scared it was going to happen again & wanted to just stay in.

On par only with the knowledge that cake had miraculously appeared in the staff room but cannot be access due to either playground duty or wet play.

But only at lunchtime. Perfectly acceptable weather almost the entire rest of the day except the lunch period. Two days in a row! 😞😞😞
