about this I’ll just say that there are some younger folks in my early modern lit seminar who did not stay up past 11 eagerly watching every offering of Comedy Central c. 2002 (due to being infants) and, well, they were a bit confused when they googled “Milton memes”.

I think what’s holding me back from what would undoubtedly be groundbreaking scholarship on Shakes’ Roman plays is that I can spell neither“Emperor” nor “Caesar”.

it’s a good thing, given the choices I’ve made, that all I’ve ever really wanted do on any given Monday night is drink beer, eat fries, and read about pain on the early modern stage 😍
